Season 17 of the long-running TLC show came to an end on December 11, but now stars Kody Brown, Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, Robyn Brown and Meri Brown are sitting down with Krishnan for one-on-one interviews to go over the events of the show’s most dramatic installment yet.

Krishnan, 51, is a news anchor who has previously worked on Good Day Wake Up and WB11 Morning News, as well as hosting TLC’s Find Love Live! and 90 Day Fiancé: Love Games.

She also hosted the Sister Wives season 16 tell-all.

After a dramatic season which mainly followed Christine and Kody’s split, Sister Wives fans were hoping to see Krishnan quiz Kody and his legal wife Robyn about their actions throughout the episodes and various situations that had played out on screens.

Robyn is now Kody’s only remaining wife after the other women in the plural marriage, Janelle and Meri, confirmed their relationships with Kody were over, following in the footsteps of Christine who announced her split from Kody in November 2021.

After the tell-all episode aired, however, some viewers felt that Krishnan hadn’t asked Kody and Robyn tough enough questions about how their relationship impacted the rest of the women.

Throughout the season, fans have accused Kody of favoring Robyn, and Robyn of keeping Kody away from the rest of his family.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer said: “This tell-all is so disappointing. We need a host that isn’t afraid to ask real questions. All she did was just give a platform for Kody and Robyn to spew their nonsense #SisterWivesTLC #SisterWives.”

While another wrote: “What a terrible start to the #SisterWives part 1 tell-all. So far, the host has been [poo emoji], lobbing softball questions at Robyn & Kody with zero pushback. I hope she turns it around, but I don’t have much faith. Random people on TikTok could do a better job.”

“The host once again coddling Kody and Robyn…like come on!!! CALL THEM OUT!!!!!! #lWe all saw the truth…CALL THEM OUT!!! #SisterWives,” added a third.

As another wrote: “Def needed a better host who would have asked better questions and held folks accountable for what they said before. She let them off easy #SisterWives.”

Other fans disagreed, however, with some expressing how much they were enjoying Krishnan as the interviewer.

“I love this host of the #SisterWivesTLC #SisterWives reunion!” wrote one fan.

While another said: “I really appreciate this 1:1 host!! If it can’t be me (lol) I love that it’s@sukanya #SisterWives.”

Krishnan has addressed viewers’ comments about her hosting on her own Twitter account, pointing out that Sunday night’s episode is just one of three parts and there is two more whole episodes to come.

She also reminded her followers that one line of phrasing that fans took particular issue with—referencing Christine’s “bad behavior”—was actually originally said by Kody and she was just using his wording.

“Listen, all I can say is that it’s a fine line of listening while being respectful of the many children in the Brown family,” Krishnan wrote in response to a fan defending her.

“Just a reminder this is several hours of conversation cut down. I was paraphrasing what Kody said about Christine, ie " Bad Behavior’,” she later wrote to a different fan.

Newsweek has contacted representatives for Sister Wives and TLC for comment.

The Sister Wives tell all episodes continue Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
