Simmons Sticking With Lsu Won T Play Overseas

Considered the top player in the 2015 class, Simmons took to Twitter to clarify that he will be playing for the Tigers next year.

A player has to wait one year after high school graduation before he is eligible to be drafted in the NBA. Some players go overseas for a season and then come back to the United States to play professionally.

Simmons recently scored 36 points in the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass., when his school Montverde (Fla.) Academy  beat Las Vegas-based Bishop Gorman 76-57.
