When it comes to Sifu, people can expect a varied experience for just how long the game is going to “officially” complete because of the way it’s built. Because of the way that things are laid out, people can expect to go back and spend more time than they might have first expected throughout the title’s several main levels.

How Long Does It Take To Beat Sifu?

This action platformer is a game that is going to rely heavily on the player developing fighting skills over the course of the story. Adding to the challenge of Sifu is that there won’t be a way to ratchet down the difficulty, at least at launch. That means that the game is certainly going to take some people longer than others, but as a general rule, it appears the title will take about 10 hours to get from start to finish.

While that might strike some as a relatively short game, there are things that players are going to want to do that could stretch it out quite a bit. In fact, Sifu is likely going to require multiple runs in order to collect everything and do everything are required to get the title’s “true ending”

How Many Levels Does Sifu Have?

In order to get to the final end of the game, Sifu players will have to fight their way through five distinct levels, with a boss at the end of each of those levels. The key to getting through those levels and through the game itself is actually to do it as fast as possible, with as few deaths as possible, since each death will add years to the character’s age, thereby making it harder to pull off certain moves and actions.

As players go through the levels, they will want to pick up the collectibles that are scattered throughout, as well as dialogue segments that will pop up here and there. Users can replay the levels as often as they like in order to get those collectibles and dialogue segments, so players could end up spending quite a bit more than 10 hours in-game. Considering the only way to unlock the True Ending is to get everything, users could even be encouraged to spend quite a bit more time playing Sifu.

Sifu will release on PC, PS4, and PS5 on February 8.
