Crosby said he’s still trying to get back to normal after sitting out almost a week.

“It took a period to get used to the speed, but once you’re in the game you start feeling more comfortable,” Crosby told reporters, according to The Associated Press. “I might be a little more tired than typically, but that’s to be expected. You just kind of monitor it as you go along.”
Crosby is glad to put his focus back on the ice.
“I think, as a hockey player, you crave that routine and competing,” Crosby said, per the AP. “It’s much better talking about hockey than that other stuff.”
Crosby’s teammate Marc-Andre Fleury posted the shutout in goal. Fleury has avoided the virus, even though he was ill recently.
“It wasn’t the mumps,” Fleury said. “Everybody goes through life with a cold here and there. It’s no big deal. I felt good.”
The Penguins are still dealing with the issue, though. Beau Bennett is being treated for the mumps, and three other players — goalie Thomas Greiss and defensemen Robert Bortuzzo and Olli Maatta — are being tested, according to the AP.
